It was a super simple process to get decomposed granite for my DIY turf project. Went in, saw the product (decent price too), set up for next day delivery and the guy showed up right on time. He even called me to give me like a 20 min heads up. The decomposed granite didnโt have any extra filler stuff or dirt like other people here have posted. Im very surprised to see all these bad reviews, I had a great experience with them and would come again!

Went to pick up a yard of material. I paid and sat waiting for the person to load it into my truck bed. I sat and watched load after load going out for 20 minutes. I finally went in for a refund. It was so long the employee thought I was coming back for more. Long time customer and pioneer was rated a 5 now I won't go back to Siteone. Guess unless you are a business they aren't interested in you being a customer. The other place I went to said the way they treat people has sure helped their bottom line.

Pioneer, now Site One, has dropped off several trucks of recycled asphalt to my property. I'm surprised at how inexpensive it is, and I'll continue to use them. Super great service, and super easy to deal with.

This place has gone down hill. From the manager Dillon to the quality of the materials they sell. They will send rock mixed with clay dirt and sand. Paid for 15 ton of cobble and was sent with only 10 ton of rock and the rest was dirt. They tried fixing the issue with send me off with 4 ton that also had about 40% of dirt. I went in on Saturday again to purchas another 5 ton of cobble and the girl at the front wouldn't take my payment. She stated that they no longer take cash. Aperintly she had jumped the gun and had closed out the cash box for the day even when during bussines hours. A good semeratin that was buying materials for his home offered to take my cash and he paid with his card. Once again they sent me off with more crap mixed in the rock. I tried discussing the issue with the manager, and he got offended and said he would no longer do business with me. I have been buying from Pioneer since 2003. And this is how the new owners allow thier team to treat long standing customers. Like if theybwere doing is a favore. Taking my bussines to Ewing from now on. They have better prices and less bull to deal with.

We have used Pioneer for over 20 years at various times and this last visit has been the worst experience we have ever dealt with. I was double charged on my first order. Once I caught it, they refunded it. My first scheduled delivery was never met. They refunded my delivery fee. The second rescheduled delivery two days later was over 2 hours late. Last but not least, my delivery of rock had more compost, sand and dirt than the rock I ordered. Their โqualityโ department was quite simply a joke. I sent pictures of the delivery and pictures throughout the process of shoveling out the mess they delivered and he said โwhatโs the problem? You got your rock order didnโt you?โ saying that 20-30% dirt is acceptable in their terms. Clearly, from the many pictures i sent them, my delivery was 60-70% dirt. I will never use them again and highly recommend others to go elsewhere. I appreciate the response from the owner , but as I stated, I contacted the "Quality" department and sent many photos with absolutely no help from Michael. I attached two of photos to this review so you can see what I had to deal with.
